The properties and the grounds

All three of the gîtes at Le Venec have been renovated and furnished to the highest standards to offer you comfort and quality. The properties are set in 3500m2 of beautiful and spacious gardens with views from the orchard over the rolling breton countryside.

Ty Coz

Ty Coz means old house in Breton and this property is a beautiful old cottage that has been completely restored whilst keeping some really lovely original features like the open fire place with a wood burner and a stone water basin.
The property is situated between the owners' house, to the left in the picture and the long barn to the right and has a well at the front (securely covered with wrought iron) as well as your own patio furniture and outside lighting.
Downstairs is open plan with a spacious living room area equipped with a TV/DVD player and a newly fitted, fully equipped kitchen/dining room area. The kitchen includes dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and of course a coffee maker!
Upstairs you will find a light and airy double bedroom with views over the garden and of the rolling hills beyond. The ensuite shower room has a toilet and corner sink.
The second bedroom has twin beds with the option of adding an occasional bed to accommodate three people. Again there are views over the garden.
The main bathroom has a bath, toilet and sink.

Ty Sioul

Ty Sioul means a house of peace and tranquility, something you are certain to find at Le Venec. This property is part of a renovated longère (long barn) and has also been completely restored to provide a really comfortable two bedroom gîte.
Downstairs is open plan with a spacious living room, equipped with TV/DVD player. The kitchen is newly fitted and equipped with washing machine, microwave, coffee maker and all the necessities to make the most of the beautifully fresh and delicious regional food.
Take the stairs up to your main double bedroom, twin room and family bathroom with bath (shower over), toilet and sink.
Outside you will find patio furniture with outside lighting.

Ty a galon - New for 2007!

The Ty a galon has been newly renovated for 2007 and sits alongside the Ty Sioul in the 18th century long barn.
Through the front patio doors, formerly the barn door, you will find an open plan living/dining area with a fully-equipped kitchen including microwave and washing-machine.
Follow the locally hand-crafted staircase up to an open plan bedroom with double bed and spacious bathroom with bath, shower, sink and toilet. The bedroom velux window is fitted with black-out blinds to ensure a good nights sleep.
In front of the Ty a galon you will find a small lawn next to the grape vine with patio furniture for you to enjoy your breakfast “en plein air”.
Ty a galon means house of open heart in Breton and we look forward to extending you a very warm and open-hearted welcome to the peace and beauty of Le Venec.

What else is at Le Venec?

The grounds of Le Venec really are beautiful.
There is a spacious orchard perfect for games of football and cricket or just for the children to let off steam. We also have a table-tennis table and basketball hoop inside the Dutch barn.
Our terrace is a lovely area. It is the remains of an old "porcherie" and is a real sun trap. It has two built in barbeques for your use and plenty of seating.
There is also ample parking adjacent to the the gardens and a short walk out of the gate and up the lane will take you into the beautiful scenery that surrounds Le Venec.
